My name is Christina. I'm a 28-year-old from Texas and owner of the fashion and beauty blog Xtinahayden.com.

3. When did you start blogging and what inspired you to start?
I first started blogging as a weight to track my weight loss progress, but over time I got bored with writing about my diet and started talking about things I love like makeup and fashion. So after a while, I turned my weight loss / personal blog into a fashion and beauty guide and decided to move my weight loss progress to Myfitnesspal.com
4. You write about beauty and fashion, which topics inspire you the most?
Beauty products for sure. Don't get me wrong, I love fashion, but there is only so much you can say about a new clothing collection. With makeup there are so many different types of posts you can do. I especially enjoy putting together tutorials.
5. I see that you have a YouTube channel as well, did you start that or blogging first and which do you prefer and why?
I started the youtube channel first. It all started with a dumb video I made of me trying my epilator for the first time. I e-mailed the video to my best friend, and he thought it was so funny, that he suggested I put it on Youtube. My channel then basically evolved from there. It's hard to choose which option I prefer. I guess I would have to choose blogging a little bit over Youtube, since I can sit around in my pjs and write and no one is the wiser.
6. What are some of your favorite stores to buy clothes and beauty products?
I'm a total MAC fan! So the MAC store is a must and then Ulta. For clothes I prefer Forever 21 and (my new fav.) Love Culture. The clothes are just so darn cute and so reasonable!
7. Whats your take on doing Sponsered Reviews?
I have no problem with sponsored reviews. My opinion on a product will always be the honest truth whether it's sponsored or not. I don't understand bloggers who consider it "selling out" to have a sponsored review. I don't blog to receive free items, but if someone is going to send me their product and ask me to try it out I will. But I will also be completely honest in my review.
8. You obvisouly seem very commited to your blog, what makes you continue to blog?
What keeps me going is the love of what I'm writing about. I enjoy talking to my readers about makeup and fashion and giving them tips and tricks to try out. My readership is still a little on the low side, but I know it will eventually grow and my blog will find a its place on the web.
9. Where would you like to see your blog o a year from now?
I would like to see my blog thriving like any blogger would. I would like it to ultimately be THE place people think to go for beauty / fashion advice.
10. Do you think your life has changed since you started your blog & YouTube channel, if so, how?
Oh for sure! For one thing I am a lot less camera shy lol. It's still early to say how much my life has changed since my blog is still rather young, but my blog and youtube channel has given me a great outlet to share the things I enjoy and help other fellow makeup and fashion lovers.
