I know it's been a while since I posted my Wednesday Beauty Tip of the week. To be honest, I started to run out of tips! lol, I posted a new tip every week for almost a year. I didn't want to post tips that weren't helpful or that you already knew about. So I figured it would be better to only post a tip of the week when I found a new one. Hopefully I will have new tips more often for you guys.

A Year's Challenge Week 16: Dotticure Mani

Dotticure?? Hmm..I'm guessing that this is just a fancy word for a polka dot or dotted mani. That's the way i interpreted anyway. I love learning all these new names for manicures I never heard of.

I knew I wanted to come up with something creative, even though Im not usually that creative. So I got out my set of dotting tools and basically just started dotting away. I noticed that when i don't think about it too much ahead of time, I have a lot easier time deciding what Im gonna do. That's how I came up with my dotticure mani.

Review: Simple Sensitive Skin Care

Don't you just love when you receive a package in the mail that you weren't expecting? Especially when there beauty products!  If you haven't heard of Daily Glow.com, their a beauty website that has a bunch of tips, reviews, trends, etc. They have a group called Trendsetters where they'll send you products to review every now and then. I've been a part of this group for about a year and have got to try some really neat stuff.

Five Favorites: March 2012

I apologize for posting my March favorites late and I'll say it again, better late than never. I feel like I've been saying that too much lately, which is so not like me. (bad blogger)!
Here are my five favorites for March, these are all products that I've had and just started using. Wow, I'm actually surprised I was able to go the whole month without buying one new beauty product. That wont last for long though.


Organix Nourishing
Coconut Milk Shampoo

I tried this shampoo a few months ago and really liked it. Somehow it got hidden behind a bunch of stuff in my bathroom cabinet. So I decided to go through everything and found the bottle I bought. I was so happy that I found it but mad that I've had it all this time and forgot. I love using sulfate free shampoo's, there so much better for your hair and it shows. My hair feels so silky and shiny when I use this, plus it smells amazing and you can still smell it on your hair the next day. I haven't used their conditioner with it but I imagine it works just as well. It's not expensive either. I believe it was around $6 at CVS.

A Year's Challenge Week 14: Striped Mani

Okay, so I know I said I was going to post this week's challenge on time but as you can see it didn't turn out that way. (*sigh*) Hopefully next week I'll get it right.

 But anyway, this week's nail challenge was a striped mani which is cool because the possibilities are endless. There are so many different ways you can create a striped mani. I thought about it for a bit and decided to do something I haven't done since last summer, and that's a Zebra/Tiger manicure. That's when I first started really getting into nail art.

Wow! Another award! Everytime a fellow blogger awards me with one of these it reminds me of when I received my first award and how surprised I was that my blog was being recognized. Even with my blog being one year old in a month I still can't believe that I have so many loyal followers that actually enjoy reading what I write. It's crazy to me and I couldn't be more appreciative.

This award came from a very special person, Kristen from Glitter Gloss and Glaze. Not only is her blog wonderful but so is she. I am so glad to have met her and be able to call her a friend. Thanks so much Kristen! xoxo

A Year's Challenge Week 13: Ruffian Mani

I am so late posting this week's nail challenge! Sorry! I need to get myself back on track. Everytime I went to do my nails this week it either wasn't the right time or I didn't have enough time to finish them. It's crazy because I've always found time to do my nails.

This week's challenge was a Ruffian mani and I honestly never heard of it before so I had to goggle it. I was surprised when I first saw what it was, it reminds me of the half moon mani except the moon part is bigger.
