Quick Tan
Bronzing Spray
by Body Drench
I bought this in the end of January and instantly fell in love with it and I've been using it a lot this month. It's been great because I feel like I have a natural tan in February. One of the main reasons I bought this and love it is because unlike other self tanning sprays this one gives you instant color. It's not an orangy fake looking tan either, it actually looks real. I still can't believe it because I've been looking for something like this for a while. Since it's winter I only really use it on my face, neck and sometimes arms. Before finding this I used to use Neutrogena's Micro Mist Sunless Tanning Spray and I liked it but I had to wait about 6 hours for the color to develop. With this you can either use it for a special night out and spray it lightly after you've done your makeup. Or you can use it like a self tanner and spray it before putting on any makeup every other day to build up the color. It doesn't make my face break out at all either. I actually found out about this in a post from another blogger. I ran out to Sally's Beauty Supply the day I read her post and bought it. It was $19.99. Garnier Skin Renew
B.B Moisturizer
I picked this up about a week ago when it caught my eye at CVS. I'm going to do a full review on it very soon so I don't want to get too much into detail but I've been using it every day and really like it. I never used a BB cream before and had no idea that Garnier made one. The only color they had left was medium/deep and it worked out perfectly. I was so surprised the first time I applied it. It was like I was applying a really good primer, it actually evened out my skin tone better than any primer I've used. It's sheer but very moisturizing and your skin looks like it was just airbrushed. I read all this on the box before but I didn't believe it was going to work. this good. I'm so glad I decided to buy it because now I can't imagine not having it. It was only $12.99 for the 2.5 fl oz. bottle.
DeMert Nail
Polish Thinner
I've never owned nail polish thinner before because I've never really seen it anywhere. There's been so many times when I wanted to use a few drops of nail polish remover to thin out some of my polishes. I know that can ruin it so I never did. Then at CVS in the nail care section right next to the DeMert Nail Polish Drying Spray I always buy was a bottle of nail polish thinner. Since I never used it before I tested it out on one of my L.A Art Deco Striping Polishes that had become too thick. Like the directions said I added just a few drops and shook the polish. When I tested it out it seemed as good as new. I used it on a few other polishes that I really like but haven't been able to use bc they became too thick. You have to sort of do a trial and error with each polish to determine how many drops of the thinner you need. Some needed less than others and some needed more. I'm glad I bought it bc now I feel like I have a few new bottles of nail polish. I got it at CVS for $3.99
Garnier Nutrisse Color
Cream Hair Dye
I've been using Garnier's Hair Dye for a year or two now, the reason why I'm mentioning it now is bc I just died my hair the other day. I've been using the same color in Black, I know it sounds dark but its not really that dark. This time I ended up buying the Soft Black for some reason. There really wasn't much of a difference. I just think its really easy to apply (most darker colors are though) and my hair always feels super soft and shiny after I use their conditioner. Up until 2 years ago I used to go back and forth from light brown with blonde highlights or light blonde to dark brown or light black. But that got too expensive, it would come to almost $200 plus I was at the salon all day. I've been happy with dark hair but I'm sure I will get an urge one day to go back to lighter hair. But for now I find it really easy and inexpensive to dye my own hair once every 6 or 8 months. Sometimes I'll find them on sale for no more than $6 but usually the box is around $7.99 at most drugstores.
